Flintshire Market Update - May 2024 📈🚀

In this 5 min video Ben discusses the current Flintshire Market and what’s happening at ground level in the local housing market.

So we’re on course to having yet another phenomenal month here at Keystone on the back of a fantastic April. Traditionally April and May are usually the best two months of the year as the feel good factor of Spring and the anticipation of long Summer days gets people in the mood for a move!

What of the announcement of the forthcoming General Election? Looking back at past trends we do usually see a slight drop off in activity on the run up to an election as the public tend to adopt a “wait and see” approach however it is usually followed by a mini boom and overall we normally see stability and growth in house prices during election years. Maybe pre-election you can even pick up a bargain if you play your cards right!

The local market is busy certainly in the Deeside area however Buckley and Mold seem to be a little slower in terms of sales. I checked yesterday and there is a lot of property for sale between 190k and 250k in the Buckley area making it all the more important to ensure your property is presented immaculately and priced competitively to make it stand out from the crowd.

As usual if you have any questions at all about the local market please drop me a line on ben@keystonepmc.co.uk.

Best Regards

The November Budget introduces financial changes that may influence affordability and confidence across the UK. But here in Flintshire—where £2 million homes are virtually non-existent—the impact is far more modest. For most local sellers, the focus remains on household budgets, buyer caution and getting pricing right for 2026.

There’s a lot of noise about AI taking over industries — but estate agency isn’t one of them.

Selling a home in 2025 is very different from even just a few years ago. With more choice on the market and buyers becoming increasingly selective, standing out requires more than just a For Sale board. Here’s what Flintshire sellers need to know to succeed this year.

One of the first questions sellers ask is: “How long will it take to sell my home?” The truth is, timescales vary — but in Flintshire’s market, smart pricing and the right agent can make all the difference between months of waiting and a fast, stress-free move.
