So weโ€™re on course to having yet another phenomenal month here at Keystone on the back of a fantastic April. Traditionally April and May are usually the best two months of the year as the feel good factor of Spring and the anticipation of long Summer days gets people in the mood for a move!

What of the announcement of the forthcoming General Election? Looking back at past trends we do usually see a slight drop off in activity on the run up to an election as the public tend to adopt a โ€œwait and seeโ€ approach however it is usually followed by a mini boom and overall we normally see stability and growth in house prices during election years. Maybe pre-election you can even pick up a bargain if you play your cards right!

The local market is busy certainly in the Deeside area however Buckley and Mold seem to be a little slower in terms of sales. I checked yesterday and there is a lot of property for sale between 190k and 250k in the Buckley area making it all the more important to ensure your property is presented immaculately and priced competitively to make it stand out from the crowd.

As usual if you have any questions at all about the local market please drop me a line on ben@keystonepmc.co.uk.

Best Regards

Ben
