Why Feedback on Viewings is Key to Selling Your Home – The Keystone Way🏡 🙂🙁

If you’re on the market with another agent and feeling frustrated by a lack of clear, consistent feedback on viewings, you’re not alone. At Keystone, we understand just how important actionable feedback is in helping you sell your home. Here’s how we do things differently.

Feedback Done Right

Unlike many agents, we don’t leave viewing feedback to chance. At Keystone, we have dedicated viewing specialists who conduct all of our viewings. After every viewing, they always ask for initial feedback from the prospective buyer. This ensures we capture valuable insights straight away.

Here’s how we handle feedback:

We Always Ask After the Viewing: Our viewing specialists are trained to gather feedback during or immediately after the viewing. This is then logged into our system as a backup in case we can’t reach the viewer later (a common issue with many other agents).

We Call the Next Day: To get the most accurate and considered feedback, we follow up with the viewer the next day after they’ve had time to reflect. We make at least 2-3 attempts to contact them by phone, ensuring their feedback is as honest and useful as possible.

We Use a Text Feedback System: For viewers who may feel more comfortable sharing their thoughts via text, we offer a simple system with star ratings and comments. Many people find this method less intimidating and are often more open and honest in their responses.

Why Feedback Matters

     1. Helps You Adjust: Constructive criticism allows you to address any recurring issues, such as presentation or pricing concerns, that might be deterring buyers.

     2. Avoids Miscommunication: We never pass on vague feedback like “It wasn’t for us.” Instead, we dig deeper to uncover the real reasons behind a decision.

     3. Manages Expectations: By waiting for considered feedback and diligently following up, we avoid raising false hopes for our sellers. This approach ensures you only receive realistic, actionable insights.

Our Goal: A Smoother, More Informed Sale

At Keystone, communication is the cornerstone of a successful sale. From feedback to follow-ups, our team ensures you’re always in the loop with clear, honest, and helpful updates.

If your current agent isn’t delivering the level of service you deserve, it might be time to switch to Keystone – the agency that always puts your needs first.

Now the dust has settled on the Budget, let’s look at what it might mean for landlords and buy-to-let investors.

Not every property brought to market results in a sale – and that’s true for every estate agent. Buyers change their minds, chains collapse, and some vendors decide not to move. But at Keystone, we’re proud to say that 79.8% of the homes we’ve brought to market in 2024 have successfully gone on to complete, according to data from TwentyEA.

With the end of the year drawing closer, housing experts have revealed their predictions for 2025 and beyond – and the news is positive. According to national property firms Hamptons, Savills and JLL, the future looks bright.

If you want to reset or refresh your life in the year ahead, why not make some property resolutions? New Year’s resolutions like losing weight or joining the gym are so last year. This year, why not do it differently? Make some New Year’s resolutions for your home. Here are a few to put on your list:
