2022 Market Overview and my predictions for 2023 😁

In this 6 minute video I go through what has happened in the Flintshire property market in 2022 and my predictions for 2023.

The market has been really interesting this year and we've experienced quite a dramatic change especially at the back end of the year. In most areas of Flintshire the market has started to fall. This is good news for first time buyers and probably first time sellers - people looking to upsize. Yes, you might not get as much as you would have during the summer but you certainly wont pay as much either for the onward purchase. If your upsizing and selling say for £150k and the onward purchase is £300k if the market has dropped by 5% you would be quids in.

You also have to keep remembering property is a home and a long term investment. The property market has always moved in peaks and troughs over the years. If your buying and planning to stay for a long time then it doesn't matter what happens next until you eventually come to sell. More than likely over a long period of time the market will inevitably rise.

Watch the video to find out more - apologies if I don't look myself on this! I was feeling quite ropey, and I have found out since I had the onset of flu 🤒

Hope you all had a great Christmas and I look forward to meeting many of you in 2023.
